It is an honor to inaugurate in Andorra this exhibition of Andorran artists who have represented us in Venice, for the first time, during these six months within the framework of the 54th edition of the Art Biennale.

For the first time in our history we have enjoyed a representation, quite worthy, as many critics say, in the greatest showcase of art. It has been difficult for us, but we have achieved it and I speak in the plural because the effort has been everyone's. First of all, the artists who, with their work and tenacity, have been able to transmit this concern to the Government of Andorra, which finally, believing in their effort, agreed to take on this common challenge.

I would like to sincerely thank the General Council for its sensitivity in welcoming this work by Andorran artists, which has allowed us to present Andorra in a space where the whole world has been able to contemplate and admire us. This has been a first step and the second is to do whatever is necessary before Andorra's participation in Venice becomes the ongoing dream that goes Beyond Vision.

We must continue working in the field of art in order to achieve goals that until now have always been too far away, and it is for this reason that I sense that, among all of us, we have begun to chart a path in knowledge and dissemination - two indispensable values- that will surely lead us to success.
